Gender Affirming Care

    Letter Writing

Currently, access to gender affirming medical treatment often requires diagnosis and endorsement of medical need by a professional. In this imperfect system, I do my best to make the assessment process an opportunity for reflection and growth, and not just a chore. I prioritize timeliness in completing assessments and writing letters, so that you can get the care you need as soon as possible.

    Individual and Couples Therapy

I am grateful that I get to combine my clinical skills and personal experience in working with transgender and gender non-conforming clients. I enjoy exploring gender identity, helping to navigate medical and legal systems, thinking about gender and oppression at a large systems level, and exploring the relational challenges and joys of transitioning.

    Outreach and Training

It is important to me that resources around transgender identity and mental well-being are available outside of the therapy space. I provide trainings for medical providers on working with transgender clients, for therapists on working with political trauma and stress, and for anyone on community suicide prevention through QPR.
